Various rants

An advice from Sam - " Change...You fight to hold on...You fight to let go.."...The quote from "the wonder years" completely fits the current affairs...only instead replace 'change' with 'power'.

It might be too obvious to state that after the end...there is always a beginning...

Today the sun shone bright and reminded me of things to come...To my surprise...things worked the way they were meant to be....today a new life was started...new experiences were waiting to happen...optimism was the fragrance and energy was the colour. To finally sum it up...all's well that begins well...

A small post about golf

I spent my weekend watching the british open and viva Tiger. What a phenomenal 2nd day!!!...anyways being an avid spectator always evolves into an attempt to realise one's potential to replicate the idol of the said sport.

Like all sports, the observer reckons the level of skill required to master the game is just below substantial. I was proved wrong (again)...when i first held a golf club...my first experience was at the driving range and the first swing resulted in the club(stick) going further than the ball....but i dunno which was worse, the daring attempt of my mate to run out onto the range while golf balls were flying around or the range attendant's insistence of my abscence from the course.

After all the chaos subsided, i learned the ropes and after 2 years of golf i can proudly say that my handicap is +24....=)...which makes me one the few millions who actually have a handicap so low...

To master golf, multi-tasking is the key, keep ur eye on the ball, ur elbows shouldnt bend, the knee's shouldnt bend too much, the appropriate distance of the ball from ur feet, the colour of the sunnies ur friend is wearing, the movement of the eye lids...all come into consideration...

But i have to say, the game is phenomenal...if patience is what u looking for, try golf...after breaking a few sets...u'll eventually learn to be patient...( because u cant afford anymore sets)...the walk...( in my case, the fun golf carts...sorry victoria park...the cart came that way)...and all the green around you...a great day out...no wonder it is so addictive...seriously..not being sarcastic at all...

why is this post in such miniature font?

hmmm... so life seems to be great eh :) nice change from yr prev post. & good to kno that things r going well!
