Review 2005

2005 has been quite a 'fast' year. The year has flown past without a hint of sluggishness ( i dont think the word even exists). A bit of a review of the year gone by

The inital quarter was quite thrillin...new semester and a lots more to learn. Had a visit from a mate from melbourne and his visit ignited the love for the Queensland countryside which i may suggest has some exceptional sites. Uni began in full flow and the soccer just started to get better...go Arsenal!!!!...Quite a thrilling few months since everyone was arriving back from their lengthy visits to thier respective home countries.Oh yeah, my first attempt to fishing turned out to be quite a bloody affair...i cut my hand as i was trying to unhook the fishing line off the water marker. The look on my mates was worth a million bucks, esp. the guy who pulled me out of the water.

The next three months...was spent grilling myself with studies and an unforgettable trip from my mom. She came to brizzie for a mnth to take care of me during the exam time. The food and times...will always be missed. In the mean time...quite a few trips to byron and surrounding places around brizzie made time quite dynamic. As always, i injured myself again...soft tissue damage to my wrist...soccer injury...nothin new thou.

Jul - sept
Mum was still here and got to spend some quality time with her...It was awesome...I also moved houses. Another something which i do quite frequently...the apartment was in a building full of students. There we met the 'americans' and then followed great friendships and even greater memories. The months following were about photos and talks. ironically i dont have a photo of them currently...hopefully in the near future. I also found out abt my brother's accident which was a low point of the year. It's great to know all is well.

The final few mnths
The last 3 mnths of the year were filled with late nite studies and farewell's. The americans left one by one and also mates from uni. Been to quite a few grad ceremonies, which only makes the waiting harder. The farewell's became the gist of the final mnths...hope we all can meet again...

To sum it up...2005 was quite a story considering all the people and places that have occupied my time. Certainly the studies were a priority but i'm sure no one wants to know abt resistors and modulation.

Hope 2006 is as good as 2005.....although..stating that every year will always hold somethin new for me...considering the dynamics of life.
